Well-known drone-maker Parrot has been drawing quite a few onlookers to its booth at CES with two high-flying additions to its robotic lineup: the MiniDrone and the Jumping Sumo. The MiniDrone is a little quadcopter that can take flight in the air and roll along the bottom using detachable wheels, while the Jumping Sumo is a remote-controlled surface bot that leaps in to the air utilizing a high-powered piston.

I tried an AirDog prototype more than a year before , and Engadget acquired another look more recently as well. At $120, this is one of the best of the lower-priced drones! You may spend far less than you'll on a pricey one (like the Phantom models), but you get a durable, reactive drone that deals with well and can take a beating.
