Greetings Alex, I now have the same problem with the screws and judging by a few of the comments, other folks will need to have the same concern whether they understand it or not. I got very careful but somehow have stripped the plastic threads. I'll experiment with superglue to attempt to create a fresh screwthread that will contain the screws properly and invite the whole plastic bit to clamp firmly to the steel shaft. I'll inform you how it goes!
