Hi Paul, first thing I'd check is whether the rotors are slipping on the key shaft. There's a couple of small screws just below top of the rotor that, when tightened, contain the upper rotor assemblage onto the key shaft. It's very easy to remove the vinyl that holds these screws so when that happens, the main shaft can spin without completely engaging top of the rotors. This produces clear full power without actually raising off the ground. Added to this, as the counter rotating lower blades will employed, the helicopter spins in one direction.
