Feb 25 - I am coming in contact with base to let you know that we continue to search for Randy. This blog may be peaceful at times, but that by no means means that people have abandoned, we continue to be hard at work behind the moments coordinating search missions and collecting relevant data in hopes of finding Randy. I will not say Experts only, nevertheless, you need to go through three or four 4 commercial MultiCopters before you even think about doing this.
I have been contacted via Twitter, email and Facebook asking if people are still looking for Randy. Needless to say we are! Every single day! Obviously those who are questioning whether looking is still in place haven't read this website yet. Not a day goes by that a member of search team is not centered on finding Randy. My team of 20 with boots on the ground and my Facebook group of 251 participants are on top of this.

Hi Paul, very first thing I'd check is if the rotors are slipping on the key shaft. There's one or two small screws just below the upper rotor that, when tightened, contain the upper rotor assembly onto the primary shaft. It's very easy to strip the plastic that keeps these screws and when that happens, the primary shaft can spin without fully engaging the upper rotors. This produces visible full power without actually lifting off the bottom. Put into this, as the counter-top spinning lower blades will engaged, the helicopter spins in one direction.
