Hello there Alex, I now have the same problem with the screws and judging by a few of the comments, other folks must have the same concern whether they understand it or not. I got careful but somehow have stripped the plastic threads. I'll experiment with superglue to attempt to create a new screwthread that will hold the screws properly and allow the whole plastic material tad to clamp solidly to the steel shaft. I'll inform you how it should go!
