If anyone is looking at the phantom 3 at the moment, beware! They seem to get major faults/ quality issues. I have experienced 4 with faults straight from the box. I used to be lucky that I experienced a good retailer as they exchanged each one but with the 4th, I went for a refund. One of the issues with 2 of them was a variety of 8 metres before the video cut away. I spent age groups with the on line DJi help office but they concluded a repair was required. I suggest you look on the DJI discussion boards where these problems are normal but no comment from DJI.
