The total amount bar on the top has to be completely free to move up and down (and take the rotors with it) as this is the 'gyro' which makes the control easier and halts it flying in drunken circles. I ran mine into a seat and am currently surviving on the split pin created out of an paperclip, melted into the plastic portion of top of the rotors and glued set up.
