You can buy update axles, but I don't recommend it as something else in the drivetrain may break that might be worse than an axle. Another thing, the shell (body) of the pickup truck tore after in regards to a a short while. I fixed this with some velcro and it generally does not affect performance, but it still was kind of annoying. Either way, this pick up truck is very, very durable.
