Your day finally arrived, my V686 5.8 FPV showed up after an extended journey on the Shanghai Express. and I have to say its well packaged in a good strong field and well shown, I've really been looking forward to acquiring this, and cant hang on to look at the 5.8 FPV as I'm prepared is pretty good, and they say the JJRC V686 RC Quadcopter is a superb quad to travel, so I couldn't become more excited to place it together, put the batteries, demand the LED screen and just enjoy the V686 5.8 FPV.
The JJRC H8C RC Quadcopter performed extremely well in this lighter weight format. At top rate 100% it was extremely fast and responsive to the handles. I have a little 20W mono + charge controller setup in my screen, charing a home spun 12.6v PBA bank to 13.2VCD float charge. A 2000w 12v sine influx inverter is the power out backup, it was built as non grid centered uninterruptible power when Meg and I were surviving in an Apartment. The machine was sized to use LED light, a 600w microwave oven, a 1500w electric lightweight stove heating unit, so that we can sterilize water, have light, and prepare food during a electricity outage. Generators were not allowed in the apartment complex we resided in previously.
One of the dissimilarities between Phoenix and RealFlight is the controllers. Phoenix uses a real RC transmitter and RealFlight uses either their proprietary controller or you can get the interface to use a JR/Spectrum transmitter. If you already have a radio/transmitter with a training port you can probably use Phoenix. This is a list of suitable models. If not you can get a version that comes with a radio/transmitter, either a Spectrum DX4 or DX5. I got the version without and use my Spectrum DX8. I have not analyzed this on RealFlight yet. I don't want to have to choose the interface.
