You can buy upgrade axles, but I don't recommend it as something else in the drivetrain may break that might be worse than an axle. One more thing, the shell (body) of the truck tore after in regards to a a short while. I fixed this mini quadcopter with camera some velcro and it generally does not have an impact on performance, but it still was kind of annoying. In any event, this pick up truck is very, very durable.
