This October has been an exciting month for drones! After years of anticipation, both the GoPro Karma and the DJI Mavic Expert were revealed this month. Each can handle 4K video tutorial and are so small they can fit in your backpack. I haven't used it in a while, but if I remember appropriately, you have to put it on to the floor, before you facing away, have it run on, but throttled completely down therefore the motors are off. Then hold one of the shoulder keys for 5 or 10 secs (I can't remember which). It'll make a beep, but I think you have to hold back for it to beep again… maybe. And then it's in headless function.

Most people were planning on a drone, but GoPro actually developed Karma as a full stabilization system. Karma is not only about getting camcorders up in the sky - it's about enhancing self-shot video for everyone. A much bigger strategy than just adding a radio-controlled item to the fall into line. One that will pay dividends for GoPro's image whenever a silky-smooth video recording gets published to the internet.

MrBassman, I don't believe the yaw type behavior (around in circles and swinging just like a pendulum) you're talking about is purely trim, sounds like there's another thing wrong. Maybe check the total amount bar at the top moves freely and has nothing wrong with it (this is actually the 'gyro' that stabilises airfare on the copter). Second check the primary axle working the rotor blades isn't bent. A good slight bend may cause the behaviour you're describing. Other than those two I can't think of anything else.
