Hello there Alex, I will have the same problem with the screws and judging by a few of the comments, other people will need to have the same issue whether they realize it or not. I used to be very careful but somehow have stripped the cheap threads. I'm going to test out superglue to try to create a fresh screwthread that will hold the screws properly and invite the whole clear plastic little bit to clamp tightly to the metallic shaft.
