A completely inactive Chroma battery required more than two hours of demand time - approximately two time and fifteen minutes. Then maintain one of the make keys for 5 or 10 secs (I cannot remember which one). It'll make a beep, but I believe you have to wait for this to beep again… maybe. And then it's in headless function.
I can't speak for each and every single person who has a Phantom, but I can say that If you have problems with the drone (that wasn't you're fault), they'll do the repair and get it back to you. Obviously, the length of time it takes is dependent upon how many vehicle repairs they have, your geographical area, what kind of repair they have to do, if they have the parts in stock for repair etc.. Genuinely, If something breaks on my Phantom 3, I'll just order the part I want from the DJI store and fix it myself which is what most people do.
