For the auto-follow function, don't expect the drone to follow you as long as you're climbing up a cliff; it can only travel horizontally so use with extreme care. Having said that, Xiong hasn't ruled out the possibility of adding auto-altitude control as more phones feature a built-in barometer. Unlike the Plexidrone credited in April, the Ghost doesn't do obstacle avoidance which is no real surprise given its price point, but as you can see in the above mentioned training video, there's work being done over a LIDAR module that could 1 day allow this drone to discover its environment. Limited take a flight time but recharges rapidly via USB which is nice not having to find AA or AAA batteries to support the recharge. Does indeed take a little of practice to get use to.
