Perhaps one of the most recent prosecutions for unlawful drone use under the ANO was in relation to a little drone with a camera that was flown over a number of Premier Category sports grounds, the Residences of Parliament, the Queen Victoria Memorial at Buckingham Palace and along the North Lender of the River Thames in London. The charges related to breaches of Articles 166 (3) and 167(1) & (2)(a) of the ANO. The drone pilot, Mr Wilson, pleaded guilty to four charges of traveling small unmanned security aircraft over a congested area and pleaded guilty to five charges of not maintaining direct visual contact with a small unmanned surveillance aeroplanes. Mr Wilson was fined £200 for every offence (£1,800) and bought to pay £600 in costs and a £20 surcharge and was bought to forfeit the drones and video cameras.
Getting your drone out for a spin over a great sunny day is wonderful, but is it possible to actually take flight it anywhere? In essence, the answer is yes, you can. However, there are a few rules. First, you aren't allowed to fly near or higher other people. That is for safe practices reasons, as drones often crash and you do not desire to be held responsible for someone's accident. Second, you are not allowed to journey near or over air-port or any armed forces objects. This is somewhat self-explanatory - they'll think you are a spy and game over. So when choosing a perfect place, think of the deserted, available space where you could have an eye on you drone at all times and where no person else goes. For instance a beach, a field etc.
Good frames can be bought fairly cheaply, however the same problem develops when a part breaks and has to be replaced. You'll likely have to buy a part created by the frame supplier and it can be expensive or unavailable. If you are heading to buy a framework, I recommend this method from this one from HobbyKing or this one from HoverThings I have not used either of these, but the first one is very cheap drone (Lydia1Haynes3.Jimdo.com) for carbon fiber content and the second one can be used by one of the better quadcopter pilots I have seen on the web. Sadly, if the shape is good and inexpensive, it make be on rear order or it's substitution parts may well not be accessible. So, I really like to build my own.
