February 25 - I am coming in contact with base to let you know that we continue to seek out Randy. This blog may be quiet at times, but that by no means means that people have given up, we continue to be hard at work behind the views coordinating search missions and collecting relevant data in hopes of finding Randy. I have already been contacted via Twitter, email and Facebook requesting if people remain searching for Randy. Needless to say we are! Each day! Obviously those who find themselves questioning whether searching is still in place haven't read this blog yet. Not really a day goes on that a person in search team is not focused on finding Randy. My team of 20 with boots on the floor and my Facebook band of 251 members are moreover.

Hi Paul, very first thing I'd check is whether the rotors are sliding on the key shaft. There's a couple of small screws just underneath top of the rotor that, when tightened, contain the upper rotor assembly onto the main shaft. It is rather easy to strip the clear plastic that supports these screws and when that happens, the main shaft can spin without completely engaging top of the rotors. This produces apparent full vitality without actually lifting off the bottom. Added to this, as the counter rotating lower blades are more likely to involved, the helicopter spins in one direction.
