The quad's small size is simply perfect for navigating indoors, though, and the getting gear does increase obligation as prop guards (though it generally does not protect them from hard landings). It appears and sounds like a small traveling insect and even though the motors are strong enough to take a flight outside the house, it'll get blown around a little in the wind flow. Otherwise, it's very stable and setting it up to hover is fairly easy.
