A security researcher has shown how high-end drones commonly deployed by administration agencies and authorities causes can be remotely exploited by rogue hackers. Outlining his findings at the annual RSA meeting in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA on 2 March, researcher Nils Rodday described how security flaws within an drone's radio interconnection gave him the capability to hijack these devices with only a laptop and a cheap USB-connected chip.
