Elbit Systems add today the Skylark C - the first naval person in its electrically powered mini-UAV family. Based on the functional and combat-proven Skylark I-LEX Mini drone with camera UAS, the naval variant extends the Skylark reconnaissance and surveillance functions to the maritime domains. Inertial navigation system (INS) and a stabilized, electro-optical (EO) payload with a high-resolution thermal imager and color daylight camera that permits continuous day/night time monitoring in diverse climate. Made with a ‘traveling wing' construction Skylark C is heavier than Skylark I LEX but its bigger energy sustains a lot longer mission endurance.
