From a design standpoint, the Phantom 4 is manufactured extremely well. It isn't the type of drone where it just looks cool. Every part has been designed to be functional, but still elegant. Strange thing about any of it.. this is the newer Nova (with the v1.6 ESCs), and it 's never been crashed (well, if you don't count just now when it flipped on take-off due to a non-spinning engine). Whatever part gone bad here, it appears to have occurred while Nova was seated on storage area shelf. Either that or it happened on original take-off/throttle-up/amp-up.
The first of those points refers to how fast the movements is happening in-front of us. If we establish the interval too much time, the video will appear chunky or jerky, if we established it too short we will use up the area on our storage area card prematurely. Having said that the footage we do capture will be 'liquid' clean, but possibly shortly enough to generate anything meaningfull. What we should be targeting with our timelapses, is keeping the focus of the timelapse even, fluid, liquid like, while at the same time, capturing the entire event.
It is the one instant in the film that acquired a visceral effect out of me. More to the point, it is the only picture in the movie that I reacted to in the manner the filmmakers intended. All of those other film is an agonizing bore, a witless and moronic rehash of the 1999 film which, if I'm being genuine, wasn't all of that great to begin with. Yes, I kind of bought into the legend and thought that the movie was genuine video footage of the lacking college kids. Needless to say, I used to be only 15 at the time, and that was before I noticed the movie for the first (in support of) time on VHS (the only thing I remember about any of it is that I had formed to avoid it many times just so my mind would stop hurting).
