Solder is solf but it models pretty hard after home heating. It's soft such as easy to record into the shape of the pins but I believe it'll be strong enough for this purpose. Mines had a few crashes and it seems to be standing up to the work. I will have a photo of what I've done and post it on my website, maybe today or first thing tomorrow as I must venture out in about an hour. I'll post a link when it's done. OK, I'll acknowledge that I've very mixed feelings about rc drones. To begin with, I personally don't like the name drone. Every time I hear it, I believe of something similar to the Reaper rather than friendly little radio managed aircraft. But it looks like we must live with the name, since this is actually the name that the advertising - and today manufacturers of these - are forcing us to look at.
The first-person view (FPV) from the camera is a huge update from the Phantom 2 Eye-sight+. The quality of the feed is way better, and the bond is pretty solid. This makes the flying experience way much cooler, since you can reliably utilize it to see exactly where the quad is (depth perception is trickier than you think). The true get, though, is how much it enhances your photography. I've had so many photographs ruined because the framing was even only a little off, or the tilt of the camera was wrong. The Phantom 3 gets rid of all those problems, giving you a reliable, clear view of your shot.
