Hi Alex, I now have the same problem with the screws and by a few of the comments, other folks will need to have the same concern whether they appreciate it or not. I used to be careful but somehow have stripped the clear plastic threads. I'll test out superglue to attempt to create a new screwthread that will hold the screws properly and allow the whole plastic material little to clamp firmly to the steel shaft.
