There are many impressive close-up cheap drone - check out the post right here - videos on YouTube of erupting volcanoes in the Bardarbunga volcanic system in Iceland used with a high definition camera attached to a drone. These videos would be extremely difficult to take any other way without placing the person at risk of serious injury or risking their life. The training video shown here was considered with a GoPro camera attached to the drone. Regrettably, the GoPro camera zoom lens were melted in the process to use these outstanding images. Unfortunately, WiFi was an issue. About 15 percent of the time, I needed difficulty getting the Bebop to hook up to my mobile or even to the optional SkyController before taking trip. I never really had the drone lose an association while soaring, but it didn't instill a whole lot confidence. Indeed, I found myself keeping the drone near by and was particularly nervous about traveling over water.
OK, I'll declare that I have very mixed feelings about rc drones. For a start, I personally don't like the name drone. Each and every time I hear it, I believe of something like the Reaper rather than a friendly little radio managed aircraft.
