Hi Spencer, Many thanks for caring and then for reaching out. We assume the waders that Randy possessed with him were the Hodgman waders he purchased 2 yrs ago. We have no idea if we was acquainted with the value of using the wading belt. I wasn't alert to this until after he travelled missing, yet I never owned or operated waders. I am hoping that if anything positive comes out of Randy's voyage it's that individuals realize while waders are useful they may be deadly.
