I had taken 10 readings, then threw away the best 2 and the lowest 2 readings. I then averaged the remaining 6 readings.. the info became much more stable. Depending how quickly you can read and measure the data, you may take 20 readings, then throw out the upper and lower 5... and average the rest of the 10. Fine tune it until you get a good test that maintains consistancey.
