GoPro's first drone has lots of unique features, starting with the gimbal arm, which can be removed and used separately from the Karma. It also comes with a no-fly-zone feature and an application that lets your friends see the feed from the camera. The drone folds up and stores in the included backpack, and a controller with a touch screen lets you see all the action. It's just too bad that you'll require to choose the camera independently; the Karma will work with the GoPro Hero 5 Black color and Hero 5 Program, and the Silver and Dark colored Hero 4 video cameras.
Unfortunately, Wi-fi was an issue. About 15 percent of the time, I had difficulty getting the Bebop to hook up to my mobile phone or to the optional SkyController before taking airfare. I never really had the drone lose an association while traveling, but it didn't instill a whole lot confidence. Indeed, I found myself keeping the drone close by and was specifically nervous about flying over water.
OK, I'll declare that I have very mixed thoughts about rc drones. For a start, I personally do not like the name drone.
