I do not feel that we can ever before get the personal privacy back that people want. Too much has happened, and the technology is very helpful for solving criminal offense and other problems. Of course, some will misuse the technology, but how do that alone be solved? We can demand privateness, but how can we be sure that we own it?. Bear in mind Watergate?
