My first drone was the Parrot Bebop and it sat in its field for months. I was thrilled to pilot it for the very first time, but I had not been sure where to fly it or what purpose it would provide. On a miserable note, Stephan Olshansky, known as Otter, the Continental Separate Trail hiker who proceeded to go lacking in mid-November, was found lifeless by hikers on Sunday. My heart pains for his sister Miranda and his family, friends and fellow CDT hikers who have been so focused on finding their missing loved one. Otter was found at a campground in northern New Mexico, alongside him was a journal, a final surprise to his family. While Stephen's finally now has resolution, their heartache remains on.
