Greetings Alex, I now have the same problem with the screws and judging by a few of the comments, other folks will need to have the same concern whether they appreciate it or not. I got careful but somehow have stripped the plastic material threads. I'll test out superglue to attempt to create a fresh screwthread that will contain the screws properly and allow the whole plastic little bit to clamp securely to the metal shaft. I'll inform you how it should go!
