I just acquired a Finding UDI/RC HD U818A-1 Quadcopter and unfortunately, it crashed on its virgin trip. The quadcopter looks fine except that the right front white knife won't rotate now, so of course, the copter can't lift off to take a flight. I've reviewed the propeller set up and discovered that the gear wheel rotating the cutter does not convert smoothly and appears to have resistance. When the smaller gear is taken off the spindle, the blade spins easily when flicked with a finger. THEREFORE I think there has to be some harm to the spindle.
May 16th - It has been a few days since I last posted, but within my absence I have been very active collecting facts, looking to avoid fiction, accumulating data and researching where we have been in Randy's lacking person case and which route to carry on. As a person who doesn't favor going backwards, but instead selects to go forward, periodically one must have a few steps backward in the event a idea was overlooked. Well, so far, we ain't found shit, but that will not discourage we from quitting!
