The balance bar on the top has to be completely free to go along (and take the rotors with it) as this is the 'gyro' that makes the control easier and puts a stop to it flying in drunken circles. I ran mine into a seat and am currently surviving over a split pin fashioned out of an paperclip, melted into the plastic portion of the upper rotors and glued set up. It was much too small and I had to have a scalpel to the rotor hub to obtain it to work. I'm still ready on spares too. All the best!
