Kickstarter has asked me to... answer the questions of whether Zano's makers could have done anything in a different way, or made flaws that future Kickstarter projects might avoid. This software is written in Javascript - which is one of the very most popular programming languages and is also also considered to be one of the most beginner friendly. This helps it be as easy for anyone to tinker with the example app, or to build their own from the ground up. The back-end is written in Python.
That's what I'm contesting, because evidently a drone can get to places to see things that those other three cannot. No-one can see in my own back home window unless they take a flight a drone in my yard, or literally break in. In a few U.S. areas, someone breaking into your yard can be shot, but not if indeed they fly a remote control helicopter in there. This is much more secure than the cheap $99 I got from a store. From the toy so don't expect $400 perfromance from a sub-$100 drone but it can the job.
