With regards to shooting photographs and videos on your mobile, or doing live streams, you do not need anything - you merely use its indigenous camera and included mic and you are good to go. But sometimes the email address details are less than professional. So, for those folks who would enjoy taking professional-looking images or filming and writing more elaborate videos, an external lens set up would make a great surprise.
