With the militaries decision to used Belleville boots, they were awarded a contract for 25,000 pairs. The new Mountain combat boots commissioned by the military are a tan and olive color which will blend in Afghanistan's mountainous environments.
During the test period for the competition, our soldiers reported that Belleville combat boots (mountain version) were more comfortable, had better grip as well as fit better than the competition and were actually less expensive.
