Elbit Systems introduce today the Skylark C - the first naval person in its electrically driven mini-UAV family. Based on the functional and combat-proven Skylark I-LEX Little UAS, the naval variant extends the Skylark reconnaissance and monitoring features to the maritime domain name. Inertial navigation system (INS) and a stabilized, electro-optical (EO) payload with a high-resolution thermal imager and color daylight camera that permits continuous day/night monitoring in diverse weather conditions. Designed with a ‘flying wing' configuration Skylark C is heavier than Skylark I LEX but its much larger energy sustains a lot longer mission endurance.
